Bio:

Appearance:
Current Age: 186
Sinbad is a tall man, but rather spindly and sinewy for a Space Marine in terms of muscle mass.
His build is lean and angular.
His skin is tanned and his eyes are blue with an epicanthic fold.
His hair is black and he keeps it in a short, layered cut. He has a short, trimmed beard.
His eyes have a mutation common amongst his people. It is a nictitating membrane eyelid against sand and dust.
He has physical scarring common amongst his people. It is a long, mask-like strip of scarring around his eyes, from constant sandstorm abuse through the eye-slit of a ubiquitous face-mask.
His face is scarred by intermittent auger array receptor plates and some wires. However, due to disagreement between his immune system and the machine spirit’s bond to his body, it has since been removed by his Battle-Brothers Cadmus and Omniel within the Deathwatch.


Quick and Dirty Biography:
Before Rebirth:
Sinbad, son of Hana, grandson of Maya, great-grandson of Shahrazad, was born on the desert planet of Haq.
When Sinbad was 14, he became a man by the standards of his people, and was bound by tradition to leave his clan to seek his own fortune and future. He went off into the sands and salt-streams of his world, armed with a pistol, sword, food, and the clothes on his back.
Eventually he formed a band of other young men in the same situation, and went off to either join or take their places in a new clan, eventually doing so when Sinbad was 15.
Before Sinbad was to choose a wife, he found a Angel’s Seal on the ground while foraging, scattered by the Storm Crusaders as tickets inviting the men who find them to make the dangerous 500km pure-desert trek to join them at their Chapter Monastery. Sinbad made the journey successfully after leaving his clan.

Rebirth: (Past = Honor-Father)
Sinbad would ascend at the age of 17 and begin his training as a Neophyte for 35 years. After becoming a full-fledged Initiate-Brother and serving for 114 years, Sinbad entered into a long-held tradition between the Storm Crusaders and the Adepta Sororitas’s planetary cult. He made an Honor-Marriage to a handful of Sororitas of the Ordos Famulous throughout his lifetime as a Marine.
He would be the children they would have’s distant “spiritual” father and he would be obligated to fight in honor to his name, lest he fail his “children,” and they would have linkage to his glories, pushing them to perform in the same for the Emperor. In addition, it would aid in him in keeping his “humanity” at a comfortable distance.
Sinbad would join the Deathwatch after proving his worth in the chapter through a succession of combat and martial feats against other challengers. He longs to bring great glory and prestige to his name and spiritual family in the Achilus Crusade, and also bring many a xenos (particularly Eldar) to death by his hands.
